My first photography exhibition!

This January - March, several of my photos will be displayed at the DeBerry Gallery in Chapel Hill, NC for an exhibit titled:

Birds of North Carolina: A Community Photo Exhibit

This collaboration with the New Hope Bird Alliance will feature 200 photographs of wild birds in North Carolina taken by about 80 individuals from across the state and country.

The exhibit of 8×10″ photos will be on display from Tuesday, January 7, 2025 to Sunday, March 2 2025. An opening reception — fancy— will be held on Sunday, January 12 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. If inclement weather cancels that date, then they’ll move it to January 26.

If you are in the vicinity of the North Carolina Botanical Garden while this exhibit is on display, I encourage you to stop by to enjoy seeing photos of our native birds. If you are not already photographing your local wildlife along with your native plants, perhaps this exhibit will inspire you to try a little backyard wildlife photography.
